Nowadays no one seems to indulge in the art of discussing without checking their phone, without sending three tweets, writing blogs (Im in the middle of a dinner party writing this. Oh, here comes the red wine, I´ll be back)………………………………………………………….Ah, thats nice. So, yeah, conversations.

There will always be people in the room afraid to go outside the comfort zone of everyday smalltalk-  the ones saying: “Im not in the mood for heavy topics! Its friday, relax, chill out!”  This is the reply you get if you bring up anything beyond Lady Gaga or anal sex.

Do I really have to move to Paris and occupy a cafe table each night to feel the depths of conversation? Well , I dont know any french, so that would be stupid but the idea. Sorry? Yes, please. (The host is serving me roastbeef) Guess I have to go now, Im off to the toilet to skype with anyone but the people present at this table….
